Trading Cards

The League City Police Department would like to announce the release of Set 4 of the Police Officer Trading Card Program. The League City Police Department has a brand new set of 20 different cards featuring officers, Telecommunicators, the Crisis Negotiation Team, and our two motor officers. The featured officers will be distributing their own cards. The cards have their picture on the front and a brief biography and personal message on back. These cards may also be received at local community events, such as fairs and carnivals.

The purpose of this program is to create positive relations between the police officers and the youth of the community. Children tend to have a difficult time relating with police officers and this program will try to break this barrier.

Children are welcome to come up to any officer they see around town and ask if they have a trading card. The officer who is on each card MUST sign them to make the set valid. Only one officer has to sign a card if it is a group picture. The first child to collect all 20 cards of the set will get to choose a brand new bicycle up to $250.00 value. The trading card contest is not open to city employees or volunteer city agencies and their families. Just bring your full set of cards to the League City Police Department, 500 West Walker, on a weekday before 5:00PM or call Ofc. Gonzales at the number listed below. You can see an entire set of cards displayed in the police department lobby or at Marina Bay Professional Park and Mini Storage (104-A Oaks Blvd #100 281-334-8800), who are this years sponsors for the new trading card set.

This is part of the League City Police Department Community Outreach Program. If you have any questions or comments, contact Officer Gabe Gonzales at 281-338-4175.
