WHAT IS THE LEAGUE CITY CITIZENS POLICE ACADEMY?

The League City Citizens Police Academy (CPA) is presented by the League City Police Department to instruct attendees in the philosophy, values and the day-to-day operations of the department. The focus is on HOW and WHY members of the department perform their various duties. The program is held on Thursdays, at the League City Civic Center from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, and lasts for 15 weeks. Next Academy starts January, 2008.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE? Applicants must be employed in or be a resident of the City of League City and must be at least 21 years of age. Applicants must be in good standing in the community and must not have any previous criminal convictions. We are currently accepting applications for future academy classes.
