DARE Officer John Griffith will chaperone Bauerschlag Elementary fifth graders on a trip to Washington D.C. The trip takes place in March during spring break. More than twenty fifth graders have elected to spend part of their spring break in Washington D.C. chaperoned by their DARE officer and fifth grade teachers. During this trip they will visit Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, World War II Memorial, Korean War Memorial and many more. They will get to see the White House, Mount Vernon and the Smithsonian Museums. They will also have a personal tour from our Congressman, Ron Paul. Congressman Paul's office has agreed to give the group a private tour of the United States Capitol and then meet personally with the children in his office. This will be the ninth year for Ofc. Griffith to assist in this event. (Pictured: DARE Officer John Griffith and Congressman Ron Paul)
