Officer Hammann joined the League City Police Department in 2003. He graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice - Law/Enforcement Police Science and will be pursuing a Masters Degree in computer forensics or another criminal justice related field. After successful completion of his Masters, he plans on acquiring his P.H.D. in Criminal Justice. Hammann is assigned to the patrol division and currently serves on the SWAT Team.
