Press Release-Attempted Aggravated Robbery with unknown suspect

LEAGUE CITY- On Friday, October 5th, 2007, League City police responded to a call of a robbery with a knife involved. Once officers arrived on scene they found the victim standing in the doorway of her residence holding bloody paper towels over her right shoulder. After asking the victim what happened, officers were told that a young white or Hispanic female approached the victim while she was taking out the trash. The unidentified female suspect approached the victim and started a conversation. During that conversation a struggle ensued in which the victim was stabbed and the suspect demanded her wallet. The suspect then fled to her vehicle, a small white sedan, and left the scene. It was determined that the victim had been cut on her shoulder and stabbed in the abdomen by the suspect. The victim was transported via Life Flight to UTMB where she was treated and subsequently released.

A Forensic Sketch Artist has provided a sketch drawing of the suspect as described by the victim. League City Police are asking for any help in identifying the female suspect in the picture. Anyone with information concerning this case is encouraged to contact Detective Aldridge at 281-338-4174 or Sgt. Jordan at 281-338-8207.
