| Press Release LEAGUE CITY-- On February 18, 2005, at 3:18 p.m., League City Fire Department personnel were sent to the 300 Block of Houston Ave. to investigate reports of heavy smoke in the area. Emergency personnel arrived and found two apartments in the League Colony Apartment complex fully engulfed in fire. The fire was fought by League City, Dickinson, Webster, and Friendswood fire units and the fire was brought under control at 4:25pm. Four apartments in the complex were completely destroyed and another 6 units suffered moderate smoke and water damage. No injuries to civilian or emergency personnel were reported.
