LEAGUE CITY -- On August 6, 2004, at 2:42 pm, a 6 year-old-male
was riding a bicycle in the 2800 Block of Arizona, League City, Galveston
County. He was riding within view of his residence. The child was injured
when he was trying to ride next to a 1991 Brown Honda Accord driven
by his 17 year-old aunt as she was leaving the child’s residence.
The child was conscious and talking, but did suffer a severe laceration
to his head. He was transported via LifeFlight to Hermann Hospital.
The injury is not expected to be life-threatening. The incident is under
investigation, but appears to be accidental and no charges have been
filed at this time.
